ADEA's annual Dental Faculty Salary Report provides information on the 2010-11 guaranteed annual salary of full-time U.S. dental school faculty, and on their 2010-11 total compensation. For this survey, guaranteed annual salary does not include non-salary benefits, such as health benefits and pension plans, nor does it include any monetary compensation not guaranteed, such as intramural practice income, incentives, or bonuses. Total compensation is reported for the year prior to that reported for guaranteed annual salary because total compensation is not yet known at the time the annual Faculty Salary Survey is conducted.
